Since 2018, Morganites and friends have gathered annually on Martha’s Vineyard to celebrate Morgan State University’s history, our collective success, and to support our mission. The series of events held during the week will attract a highly engaged audience who enjoy the culture, heritage and classic New England charm of the island.

The staple event of the week is President David K. Wilson’s Reception held on Thursday, August 7th during which he will deliver his keynote message highlighting the latest accomplishments and milestones of the University during this exclusive event with roughly 250 attendees.

This gathering is not only about coming together to socialize; it is also about making an investment in our students and allowing them to realize their dreams of earning a college degree. Help us achieve our goal of 100% participation and support by joining one of the following societies:

Housing, Housing Housing!

Morgan on the Vineyard – August 5 through August 8, 2025

Renting homes for the week is the primary method of staying and vacationing on the Vineyard. For shorter stays, there are a limited number of hotels.
Hotel stays work for short 2-3 days for individuals. For longer stays and multiple people, you may want to consider renting a house for the week.

Below are the names of individuals who can assist with coordinating housing.
